It was nice to sleep in the warm sun. He could pretend that life was easy and everything was certain and secure. He hadn’t spent that long in Yusten but ever since his first meeting with the alpha he hadn’t felt overly secure. Something about the white wolf sent shivers down his spine. The tawny male made a bit of effort to keep to himself. It wasn’t that he was unwilling to make friends; it was simply that he hadn’t been able to figure out who was safe and who wasn’t yet.
Idly his mind wandered. He wondered if he had picked the right pack to join. The number of males greatly outnumbered the number of females. It seemed to him that there was no chance of family starting, even if Jax was the kind who would allow such a thing. Pasha wondered if this pack even had pups. Part of him hoped so; one of the things he had looked forward to most about joining a pack was playing with the little babes.
It crossed his mind that he could slip off now if he wanted too. No one was paying him much heed, as usual. If this wasn’t the right pack he could get away and not look back. He was quick to shake that idea out of his mind though. He hadn’t given the pack time yet and he was sure that there were a few good wolves here he could get to know. What’s more he had to admit that even if the pack was not his first pick it was nice to belong. Wolves needed to belong to things, he had lived the life of a loner and he knew it did things to your head. That explained a lot about the alpha, he thought to himself with a sad chuckle.

The early March sun shone heavily down onto the luxuriousness earth beneath it's awesome presence. The first signs of spring were slowly, yet surely beginning to appear with angelic tweets and chirps breaking the silence of the area once in a while. These unpredictable pitches shook ones ear, a pert ear, a canines ear. The slender figure rustled almost mutely within the undergrowth having left nothing but a couple of rabbit feet - a satisfied, well fed wanderer. Whisper manoeuvred articulately through this place of blissful security, not one wolven scent reached her pink nose leather. The femme had been travelling for a while now, a year almost before she stumbled naively onto this land which didn't seem to be taken, whatever scent had been used to mark was well extinguished by time.
A small defeated sigh left her mouth, fiery orange eyes looked down gently to the earth beneath her and her own fore paws. She looked at them, her creamy tan paws which throbbed from all this hardy travelling. Moaning a little as she slid to a lie down and met the earth with a large thump. "Maybe some rest, would do me good..." she spoke sweetly, innocently and as if someone was there with her, a presence. Proceeding to lie on her side with another light groan suddenly saw another canine figure. Instantaneously her nose worked to detect the sex. "Oh no, it's a boy!". In a panicked state of mind she gave a quick squeal and threw herself on her back, ears pinned to her cranium, tail locked tightly beneath her legs. What would this lone sable male do to her?!

A soft voice reached Pasha’s sensitive ears and he slowly lifted his large wedge shaped head to have a look around. The voice was very soft and sounded like a female’s voice, a female he wasn’t aware of yet even. It didn’t take him long to notice the cream colored fae several feet off.
She acted as if his simple glance towards her had been a menacing growl. Her soft, cream belly was protected only by her tightly tucked tail. Not wanting to seem like a threat the big brute rolled onto his feel and tucked his ears. He approached her carefully, with his head lowered and a wagging tail.
He stopped a few feet away before laying down. He was doing his best to not seem so big to the little female. ”I’m not going to hurt you, miss,” he said as sweetly as he could. ”You know this is part of a pack’s land right?” he asked sweetly known that she certainly didn’t seem the type to be a member of this pack.
